Raymarine® Axiom Wins Innovation Award at 2017 Miami International Boat Show

Raymarine/FLIR Maritime receives second consecutive win in “Consumer Electronics, Mobile Applications and Software” category with the new Raymarine Axiom MFD series

 WILSONVILLE, OR February 21, 2017 – Raymarine/FLIR Maritime is pleased to announce a 2017 Innovation Award in the category “Consumer Electronics, Mobile Applications and Software” for the Raymarine Axiom Multi-Function Display (MFD) series at the 2017 Miami International Boat Show. This win follows on the heels of their 2016 MIBS Innovation Award for the FLIR AX8 Marine Thermal Monitoring System.

The National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) and Boating Writers International (BWI) recently announced the winners of the 2017 Progressive Insurance Miami International Boat Show Innovation Awards, presented during the annual Industry Breakfast at the Miami Beach Convention Center.

 

The Innovation Awards recognize products that best meet the following criteria: innovative distinction from other products currently being manufactured; benefit to the marine industry and/or consumer; practicality; and cost-effectiveness.
